About
Hey, I’m Vanderlei Sbaraini, and welcome to vans.dev! This is where I share what’s on my mind as a software engineer. I’ve been building web applications for over a decade now, and it’s been quite a journey.
My passion is in crafting both the front-end and back-end of applications, with a particular soft spot for Laravel. I’ve had the chance to work on all sorts of projects – from pharmaceutical industry apps to systems that streamline supply chains. Along the way, I’ve also dived deep into software architecture, figuring out how to build things that are solid and can grow. By day, I’m a Software Engineer at Kirschbaum, an Official Laravel partner.
This blog is really about me reflecting on that journey. It’s a space where I can talk about the challenges I’ve faced, the problems I’ve solved, and all the things I’m learning in tech. You’ll find me sharing thoughts on development processes, maybe some code snippets, and definitely my perspective on the ever-evolving world of software engineering.
But there’s more to me than just code! I’m also a husband and father of two, living in the beautiful south of Brazil. When I’m not working, you’ll often find me watching or playing soccer, cheering on the F1 races, or cruising on my retro-style Kawasaki. I’m also into gaming, especially F1 and Cities Skylines. And, to add another layer, I’m a bit of a musician and artist – I played guitar in a punk rock band for eight years (we even opened for Marky Ramone once!), and I enjoy drawing.
I’m a believer in writing clean, efficient code, and I’m always excited about what’s next in technology. So, thanks for stopping by – let’s explore this world together!
